Ottawa-based band, Amos The Transparent, are back with their third album, ‘Good Night My Dear…I’m Falling Apart’. Le 6 mars, le tout premier album solo de Fanny Bloom verra le jour. Pour Fanny, Apprentie Guerrière est le fruit d’une poursuite musicale déterminée suite à la dissolution du groupe La Patère Rose. Forte de son apprentissage scénique tant lors des Francouvertes (La Patère Rose a été couronné gagnant en 2008) qu’au sein de son groupe, les textures sonores de ce nouvel album sont à l’image de Fanny: confiante et douce, ricaneuse et sérieuse (quand il le faut!), éclatée et posée à la fois. After releasing their EP ‘New Brighton’ last fall, 2011 Juno Award winners Said the Whale are back with their 3rd studio album ‘Little Mountain’, scheduled for release March 6, 2012. The album, replete with catchy tunes with brilliant hooks, layers vocal harmonies on clever, confident, sharp indie pop.
